1. Who is responsible for this website
The website is operated by Ohmatic. For general enquiries and privacy requests, contact info@ohmatic.ai.
This notice applies to the public Ohmatic marketing website. Product use, customer accounts, and any paid services may be governed by separate agreements and notices.
2. What we collect
On this website, the data flow is limited to the following:
- If you apply for early access, we collect the name, email address, and company you enter, together with your confirmation that you want to join the list and your separate, optional choice about receiving product updates.
- If you answer the optional questions that follow, we also collect your stated role, the design tool you use, the difficulties you select, the capabilities you shortlist, and anything you write in your own words. Please keep those answers general: do not include confidential designs, client names, or anything you are not free to share.
- Your answers are saved as you go. If you begin the questions and stop before the end, what you have already answered is kept, along with the point at which you stopped. We say so plainly because it is not what most people assume.
- We record how the visit reached us — the campaign tag in the address you clicked, or the site that linked to you — and include it if you submit the form. It is held in memory only, never written to your device, and is gone when you close the tab. Section 4 describes this.
- If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, company, message, and any attachments.
- If you follow the demo link, you leave this website and use Cal.com to choose a time. Cal.com then processes the information submitted in its scheduling flow under its own Privacy Policy.
- Our hosting and security infrastructure may process technical request data such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser, device, referrer, and security events.
- We count page views. This uses no cookie and stores nothing on your device: visits are counted by a hash computed on our provider’s servers from the request and a salt that changes daily, which cannot be reversed and does not carry over to the next day. It tells us how many people read a page, not who they were.
Do not send confidential designs, credentials, special-category data, or other sensitive information by email unless we have specifically agreed a secure channel with you.
3. Why we use it and our legal bases
- To operate, secure, debug, and protect the website: legitimate interests in providing a safe service and, where applicable, legal obligations.
- To respond to an enquiry or prepare a commercial relationship: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract and our legitimate interests in handling business communications.
- To manage your early-access application, contact you about it, and decide who to admit: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
- To understand what people who design circuit boards need, using the optional answers: our legitimate interests in researching the problem we are trying to solve. Those questions are optional and skipping them does not affect your application.
- To count how many people read which page: our legitimate interests in knowing whether anyone is reading. The measurement is aggregate and cookieless, and we have chosen a method that cannot identify you precisely so that this basis is the honest one.
- To send you product updates, if you asked for them: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by replying to any message or writing to us.
- To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims: legitimate interests and legal obligations.
We do not use this website to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies: no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no social pixels, and no third-party tracking of any kind. Nothing here follows you to another site, and nothing is shared with an advertising network.
There is no consent banner, because there is nothing here to consent to. The only thing this site writes to your device is your in-progress answers on the application form, kept in the browser’s session storage so that moving between questions does not lose what you typed, and discarded when you close the tab.
How the visit reached us — the campaign tag or the referring site — is held in memory for as long as the page is open and never written to your device. We deliberately do not keep it between visits: that would require storing something on your device, which would require asking, and we would rather not ask than ask and store.
We do count page views, using a cookieless method that stores nothing on your device. The full account — every key, its purpose, how long it stays, and the legal basis — is in the Cookie Notice, kept as a separate page so it can be checked line by line against your browser.
5. Providers and international transfers
We use service providers only where needed to run the website, receive applications, and reply to them. Current providers are Vercel for hosting, delivery, and cookieless page-view measurement, Namecheap for domain and DNS services, Attio for storing and managing applications, Resend for sending the confirmation email, and Cal.com when you voluntarily use the booking link.
Attio and Resend process data on servers in the United States, so applying to the list involves a transfer outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are made using an appropriate legal mechanism and contractual safeguards. Review the providers’ current notices for their own processing details: Vercel Privacy Notice, Attio Privacy Policy, Resend Privacy Policy, Cal.com Privacy Policy.
6. Retention and security
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose collected, to maintain an ongoing business relationship, or to meet a legal obligation. Applications are kept while the early-access programme is running and for as long as we are in contact with you about it; you can ask us to delete yours at any point, including while it is still open. We periodically remove enquiry data that is no longer needed. Technical logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s operational and security policies.
We apply proportionate technical and organisational measures, including access controls, encrypted transport, and minimisation. No internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Your rights
Subject to the conditions and limits of applicable law, you may:
- ask for access to your personal data;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to erase data or restrict its processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- ask for data portability where the right applies; and
- withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
Send requests to info@ohmatic.ai. We may need to verify your identity. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority, including the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this notice when our processing changes or when the law requires it. The date at the top of this page identifies the current version. For questions, contact info@ohmatic.ai.
